Temporary tattoos are easy to apply and allow you to add a symbolic touch to your style in minutes. For a clean look and better longevity, it is important to properly prepare the skin and follow a few simple steps.

Before application

Before applying your temporary tattoo, make sure your skin is:

  • clean
  • dry
  • free of cream
  • free of oil
  • free of perspiration

For better longevity, apply the tattoo to an area with minimal friction.

Application steps

  1. Cut out the tattoo
Cut out the design, leaving a small margin around it.
  2. Remove the transparent film
Gently remove the protective film from the tattoo.
  3. Place the tattoo on the skin
Place the tattoo with the printed side against the skin.
  4. Dampen the paper
Using a damp sponge or cloth, wet the paper thoroughly.
  5. Wait a few seconds
Apply light pressure for about 20 to 30 seconds.
  6. Gently remove the paper
Gently lift one corner of the paper. If the design has not transferred completely, dampen it for a few more seconds.
  7. Let it dry
Do not rub immediately after application. Let the tattoo dry for a few minutes.

Tips for better longevity

To extend the life of your temporary tattoo:

  • avoid rubbing the area after application
  • avoid creams or oils on the tattoo
  • pat dry gently after showering
  • avoid areas that are heavily exposed to clothing friction

Longevity can vary depending on the skin, the location of the tattoo, and daily friction.

How to remove a temporary tattoo?

To remove the tattoo, use:

  • baby oil
  • vegetable oil
  • an oil-based makeup remover
  • or warm, soapy water

Rub gently until the design disappears completely.
